Politics has many layers. At one layer presidents start wars or stop wars, prepare for wars. At another layer politicians decide if a nuclear power plant may be built or a coal-fired power station or a solar thermic power station. At yet another layer somebody decides if a road should be asphalted or not or if a school house should be built or not. There are layers upon layers in politics.
Change will not fall from heaven and no Messiah will bring it. For sure it is an illusion to expect from a Barack Obama the lotus paradise on earth (and within 8 years at the most). Change will come with a rising consciousness. It will affect politics as well as any aspect of life. It will affect not any political plane at the same time in the same degree. It is a play of energy. It may be a sign of a rising consciousness that a man like Barack Obama has been voted even if his concrete politics may bring just a view steps out of the power poisoned darkness of politics. It may give courage to others on other planes to start some change. Nothing is isolated. All is interrelated.
Basicall politics is nothing but a way to organize a society, to organize economy. But as there is the possibility for misusing power for any kind of egotrip politics as a whole has become so ugly, attracts power addicted people with great inferiority complexes. Only a rising consciousness can focus politics on its real subject, organization of economy and society.

Politics yes or no is not the question. The question is a shift from a power poisoned, ambitious politics to an intelligent, functional, organizational politics. And that shift can only happen with a rising consciousness, with people who live out of their heart.
